Alibaba has released Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo, an accelerated version of its open-weight 7B image generation model. By reducing the required denoising steps from 40 down to just eight, the new checkpoint delivers a fivefold speed boost for developers while maintaining the core architecture and offering a hosted API option.
