Satellite Radar Startup Kapta Space Secures $24M for Defense Tech
Seattle-based space startup Kapta Space has raised $24 million in Series A funding to scale production of its low-cost metamaterial radar payloads. The round includes backing from a Bill Gates-backed fund and defense investors, enabling the former Echodyne spinoff to expand manufacturing of advanced radar technology tailored for modern defense satellites.
