Mistral AI Debuts Mistral Large 4, a Massive 1.05T Parameter Multimodal Model
Mistral AI has launched Mistral Large 4, nicknamed Le Chonk, featuring a 1.05 trillion parameter Mixture of Experts architecture and a 1 million token context window. Trained entirely on European infrastructure, the model introduces native image support and efficient active parameter routing. The API is currently live, with open weights expected by late October.
