Perplexity Open-Sources SPACE Sandbox to Secure AI Agents
Perplexity has open-sourced SPACE, the production-tested sandbox platform that assigns an isolated Firecracker microVM to every AI agent task. Released under the Apache 2.0 license, the system provides teams building browsing and coding agents with enhanced security by controlling credentials and outbound traffic from outside the virtual machine.
