Tesla Expands Powershare Home Backup to Model 3 and Model Y
Tesla is rolling out its Powershare Home Backup feature to newer Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, allowing owners to use their electric vehicle batteries to power their homes during outages. Previously limited to the Cybertruck, the capability requires a compatible Tesla Powerwall setup, offering households an added layer of energy resilience.
